Crews stayed busy today with 2 car fires just hours apart. At 16:10 Station 1 was dispatched to the 200 block of Bartlett Ave Sharon Hill. Telesqurt 1 and Squad 1 with 7 members responded. Crews placed 2 lines in service. Crews from Engine 9 and Engine 5 assisted with extinguishment and resorting hose. Crews operated for just over 30 minutes. At 19:07 Squad 1 was dispatched for a car fire on Folcroft Ave in Folcroft. Squad 1 responded with 6. Crews placed 1 line in service with foam due to fuel lines leaking. At 20:21 Station 1 was dispatched for the building assignment on the 1000 block of N. Academy Ave. in Briarcliffe section of Darby twp. TS1 with 5, SD1 with 5, R1 with 1 as air bank and both Traffic units responded within minutes of dispatch.

Just before midnight Station 1 was dispatched to the 100 block of S. Chester Pike Glenolden for the MVA with entrapment. Rescue, Squad and Utility 1 responded and assisted Engine 5 Glenolden Fire Company Station 5 and worked with Rescue 43 Holmes Fire Company Station 43to remove the roof and doors.
