At Approx. 10:45 this morning company 01 was dispatched to assist the Folcroft PD. Engine 01 arrived to find a cat stranded on top of a Telphone pole. 01 Command advised Fire board to add a ladder truck to assist with the rescue due to Telesqurt 01 being out of service.

On Tuesday 22 April 2014, members took advantage of the nice weather to practice some vehicle rescue extrication training. Members trained with the Jaws of Life spreader, hydraulic shears and the glass window punch.

Night the crew from Station 01 took advantage of the Extremely cold weather and snow to do some Rescue ALIVE Ice rescue sled training. After a quick refresher in the station members suited up and head out in the snow to train with the sled.
