New Truck 1 progress report

UPDATE Nov 18th Truck 1 has begun its journey home. Truck 1 will be arriving Friday Nov 25th between 630 and 7pm. Everyone is welcome to join us in Welcoming home the latest addition to the Folcroft Fire Company.

Update Oct 5th. Truck is in its final assembly stages. Members from the truck committee and sales rep Bob Orner and Brian Horrocks from Horrocks Fire and Rescue will be headed to Lyons, South Dakota to perform final inspection on Oct 23rd. Delivery is expected in Mid November.

Update Sept 6th. Body is almost done and plumbing is under way. Body should be done and going to paint Thursday or Friday.

As of Wednesday August 12th. Truck 1 is taking shape. 2022 Rosenbauer 78ft Viper Ladder. 205" wheelbase 1500 GPM Hale RSD Pump, 500 Gallons Water 30 gallons Class B Foam. The Chassis and Cab are moving along well in production. Ladder sections have been completely welded and hot dip galvanized. Assembly of ladder components were started this week. Follow our Facebook page for weekly photo update pictures. Cab, Chassis and Ladder are complete and truck is in Lyons, South Dakota for final stage assembly. Pump has been mounted, Custom front bumper s in fabrication. Plumbing and Body started being fabricated this week. Completion and delivery expected early fall 2022.
